    You can try this way:

    Menu: create a menu item type of Articles >> Model List:

    Navigate to 'Options' tab > select 'model-split' layout for it:

    All articles belong to selected category of this menu item will have that layout.

            No, not as a home page, but in the main menu, I want to use that page as Biography about someone.

                    This URL doesn't work, not sure how you want to achieve here.

                    As I mentioned above, simply go to the Menu >> Create a new menu item with type of URL and insert Link you want there.
