I created a duplicate template of Flix so I can learn the template without destroying the original.
It doesn't matter if I make edits on the original or the copy, I will see my edits for a very short time. If I refresh the page, everything is back to the orginal color theme.

I created new pallettes with bright colors then applies one color to each section of the template so I could see what goes where. For instance, the topbar got grey. The main content got yellow.

It's perfect, for a short time. Then the edits stop working. How do I make my style edits sticks until I change them on purpose?

I just got the top menu the way I wanted it, and had all my sections with different colors. Header search banner had my logo showing.

A few page refreshes and poof! Flix logo is back. My section colors are gone. All that work and Flix keeps flipping around colors and logos whenever it wants.

Maybe this will help in narrowing it down. The menu text sizes keep changing. If I go to JomSocial, the top menu and the header menu changes sizes. If I go some place else, the menu size changes. I have my site set to development, so I thought that's all I have to do.

It's still randomly producing colors and font sizes. Not consistent throughout the site. Maybe Joomla and JomSocial are not fully integrated with Flix?

Joomla pages processes the colors one way, and JomSocial just ignores whatever I set in the theme colors and font sizes.
