Joomla 4 Blockk Category Blog repeated content.

Hi,

When I created Category Blog on a new Joomla 4 site with the latest version of the Blockk template each article content is repeated twice.

The intro text option is on.
Kindly open the Menu options and set Intro text to Hide.
if this not working, kindly Edit fields in the first post of this thread and submit the site login for staff.
I will check it directly on your site.

Thanks the option was on so I changed it to hide and it solved the problem but then I if i click on the individual article it show a empty text. I have added the login info so you can check if I missed something else.

I just want to see the whole article without any readmore buttoms is that possible? I have a test site with Joomla 3 and Blockk and it behave differently (as I want).

I have done some more test and on my joomla 3 site i was running the previous version of Blockk. I just updated to the new 2.0.0 and the behavior change and is the same as on the Joomla 4 site. So it seems that something have been changed. Is it correct that you must have a readmore in an article to be able to see it?

it is same in both view.
I change the code file "‎/html/com_content/article/default.php" in template "ja_blockk".

You can see it full text now.

Thanks that solved one problem but created a new. Now all articles that have the “Intro Text Show” and no “Readmore” are shown twice (example home page picture). I know you told me in your previous fix to put turn off “Intro Text”. I haven’t seen this kind of behaviour in previous version and templates. My understanding is that an articles with no Readmore shall only be shown once independently of the “Intro Text” parameter is that correct or not?

If there is no readmore in the article it will not detect which is intro text, this is why there is issue show the full text.
if there is still issue of double text kindly share the URL as checked the articles they are showing fine now.

If there is no read more button it would not detect the intro part and show full text, at the moment i turned it off on your site as you are not using readmore to avoid text 2 times. as it pick same text for both intro and full.
You can check complete site there is no readmore and intro is off without readmore.

Just for my understanding a text without a readmore is that treated as intro shouldn't that be considered as full text?

This is custom fix for your site as you are not using the Intro text with readmore and settings are different.
There is no issue if you use readmore that is standard way to add intro text in Joomla articles.

I maybe stubborn regarding the repeated content, but now I have installed a demo site with “Fashion -3” and the Intro text is repeated in the blog view. On Joomlart demo that’s not the case (see screen dump). As I previously mentioned it seem that something change from previous version of Blockk.

On the demo site each article has readmore button to split the intro text and full text.

You have to apply the change already suggested to make it fix as without apply it always show full text.

For your information I have not changed the content on the demosite and the article has a readmore and show the text twice.

If you install a new site kindly put the online as current site you are using i already added fix without readmore too. so it is not clear how you want to show.
