T4 BS5 Framework Template - conflict with EasyDiscuss component

Hi,

I'm using T4 Framework, the BS5 T4 Template on my Joomla 4 site (latest stable versions of everything)
I also use the third party EasyDiscuss Template.

On the URL I've given in the site info fields of this ticket, the template gets corrupted - the main navigation menu is lost and the site logo image appears small. This problem seems unique to this page - which displays correctly with Joomla's Cassiopeia template.

I raised it with the developers of EasyDiscuss and they referred me back to you, saying that it looks like a template issue.

Would you be able to take a look? Thanks!

I got you point, it due to the Edit layout in T4 framework only. From the beginning, T4 wants to have a clean layout for edit page: profile page, edit content page, etc... in which it will show the logo only and focus on the edit form.

In the latest version of T4 v2.0.6, we update an additional option so you can select layout edit as you wish.

Now, you can backup your site and install latest version for T4 plugin into your site: https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/joomlart/t4/t4-framework

Then go to Templates >> Global Settings >> and change the T4 edit layout to 'Full Positions Layout':

UPDATE: Just realised the same issue happens with Core Joomla 'Publish Article' page... on my site that can be seen at...

mysite.... /members/publish

Yes fantastic - it worked!

That also solved the other problem (with DP Calendar component) I have posted about (unless you did something on that separately) - so I will update that thread on this forum too.
