Pre-Update Check problem with JomSocial System

Hi,

Thanks for all wonderful work you do!

I have now gone to Joomla 3.10.2 and JomSocial 4.8 and are prepering to go to Joomla 4.0.3 but I have some questions.

The Pre-Update Check for Joomla 4.0.3 is giving me waring.

System - JomSocial System Potential Upgrade IssueMore Information Plugin.

When I go back end and look at it I get.

System - JomSocial System Site Plugin 4.8.0 July 2011 JomSocial Team system.

What do you recommend me to do?

Also there are a lot of extensions with no update Information available.

Can you give me advice?

Hi
Your list contains NON JS extensons as well.
I suggest you to disable those which not ready.
About JomSocial it is fully ready and first you need to update to 4.8.0 version and after that you can use update Joomla.
Some plugin that from us like : JomSocial - iJoomla GURU User Points Plugin
JomSocial - iJoomla Publisher User Points Plugin

If you do not have these extensions kindly disable them. Also take full backup of website before update to Joomla 4 so you have a safe copy of site.
You can also take backup of current site > install it on staging site and try Joomla 4 update there first.

Thanks for your answer.

The mayor question is "System - JomSocial System plugin."

I have upgraded to JomSocial 4.8 but I still get the warning.
Looking backend the plugin is 4.8 but with the date July 2011.

Something is not ok.

You can ignore this for system plugin as this work same for Joomla 3, there is no issue with plugin after update.

You can also have a look in case you want to see how it will appear.

Yes there is no issue with Joomla 4 with this plugin. About 3rd party plugin you have to check with them .
