Modify text size and color for "logo" space?

How do I change color and font weight for the space used for a logo? I tried a logo, but it was tiny and unreadable.

Here is the style code for this

.gk-logo-text.inverse > span {
    color: #212529;
    font-size: 20px;
    line-height: 33px;
}

You can font-weight value in same code as well and override it via override.css file

The original code is defined in the /css/template.css file

I added the file override.css to the template/css folder, but it didn't seem to make a difference. What I really wanted to do was add the logo with some wording to describe the site. I'm sending you a mockup of the homepage using the logo the way I wanted to use the logo, and the logo I used is 500x134. I just added the circle logo, it was so tiny, you couldn't read it. So please tell me what I need to do to make this happen.

Here is how the logo looks if use it the way the template is originally designed:

I hope you can help me with this. I loved the design of this template, but I'm not happy or should I say, I've been spoiled by Joomlart templates and the ease with which I can modify things.

The code is fine and also enabled the override css http://prntscr.com/1xjx2rb
the issue is you changed the idea to place logo, the suggestion is based on the previous setting when you are using text type logo.
Now it is replaced with a logo image. you can choose only one.
Kindly replace the logo image with another image that also consist the text you want to put.
As if i force the the text show, it still not give same output as you needed and required more customization in the styles and layout file.

I do apologize, I started with the logo image, but tried the text, but when the sizing didn't work, I opened this ticket. I really want to use the image I've pasted in the mockup I sent you last. I know I can't use text and logo. The logo I've created to use is a png image, and the text is in the image file as part of the logo. Please tell me how to get the logo to appear as I have it on the mockup. For some reason, any logo I use and go through the backend of the template to upload it, the logo is shrunk and is totally unacceptable. That's why I sent you the image showing just the tiny green logo, so you could hopefully understand what I need to get fixed. The logo image I sent is also attached again, and it is 500x134px. Please provide me with the fix to load this logo in its full size. Thank you.

I've uploaded it now to the website through the template backend, and you can see how it shrinks it to fit the allotted size of the template setting.
