Hi, If I look at the discussions in the JA Social II part of the unified portal I am told I need a valid subscription to view the items even though the template is included as part of my subscription. How do I fix this? I am trying to sort out some tailoring I want to do within the template and am trying to find responses to others who have had the same problem without my needing to raise a new request.
jonc1 Hi The JA Social ii is paid template part of JA Pro memberships, But it has added free for JS Pro members. You can download it from here : https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/jomsocial/jomsocial-templates And if you get any issue or facing a bug, you can open a thread for each new request on our JS Forum page like this one to report the issue we will help you.
Hi Pankaj, That's fine, I find the forums a great way to look at solutions to problems that I come across and it was a bit frustrating to see it had been answered for someone else but I couldn't access the response. As it is I've fixed it now and I'm happy to repeat queries that you've previously responded to elsewhere but it seems to mean duplicating effort on your part if the previous answers are not visible in the forum where they'd previously been responded to. Probably for the same reason though when I try to use the Joomlart Extension Manager to download some of the software associated with the template (and other pieces used within JomSocial such as the Google maps plugins I get the response that I cannot have access to them.I attach screenshots of the website admin page showing the updates needed for the website, the screenshot from Joomlart Extension Manager running on my system and the downloads page for Social II in the JomSocial section showing that the updates are not available. I would prefer to use the extension manager for all my updates and its particularly frustrating when the only ones that I can't get are a subset of the products from the supplier of the Extension Manager. While access to the forums is not a big problem, the lack of easy access to the software just adds to the time taken to get anything done.
jonc1 Hi No worries i will ask team to update this download page as well on Monday once team back. As template updated today itself its not updated yet.
I see the Joomla 4 version of the Social II template seems to be available in the Joomlart section of the website (which for some reason I'm not allowed to download from) but it still has not been made available in the JomSocial area of the site even though it is listed as a JomSocial template. Is there any chance that someone, somewhere, at sometime could get round to making it available to those of us who have it as part of our subscription.

Thanks Pankaj, but can you say when the JomSocial downloads section of your site will get the updates - they've been in the Joomlart area for a couple of weeks and as well as the template things like the google maps plug-in are also needed before the Joomla 4 update can be done.

jonc1 Hi The template came with JA Masthead module https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/jomsocial/jomsocial-templates/ja-social-ii JA Masshead is different module and part of JoomlArt subscription. JA Extension manager work if you have JA membership.
