change Favicon.ico location

Hello,
Could you please guide me to change the location of current existing favicon.ico from template/ja-company
to be www.mywebsite.com/images folder?

A favicon is added in several places by Joomla - I'm not sure why you want to move it as it shouldn't really change very often

I'd add suggest keeping adding the icon to the root of the template folder

Is there a particular reason you need to move it?

Yes, that is because i do not want to show the Joomla template location, so i move every images from it to the main website image folder.

I'm not a 100% sure how best to do this as this isn't something I've ever tried

\libraries\src\Document\HtmlDocument.php is the core file where it refers to the location

Are you doing this for security reasons?

If so I'd instead purchase an extension like admin tools and lock down the ability to change template settings using this extension
