Trying to solve "Error decoding JSON data"

This error came up this morning and I think it's from something a user posted:

"0 : Error decoding JSON data: Control character error, possibly incorrectly encoded"

I am running Joomla 3.10.3 with JomSocial 4.6.2

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

JomSocial 4.6.2 is pretty older version and not supported for latest Joomla.
I suggest you to take backup of site and update JomSoical to latest version. There are many new version released after that you can check here : https://www.jomsocial.com/blog

I have now upgraded to JomSocial 4.8. The error the still there.

kindly edit fields in first post and submit the FTP login fro staff and a PHPmyadmin information as well
