T4 Blank BS5 Mega Menu Row Issue

Hello,

Experiencing some difficulty with the menu editor in admin for rows. They are stacking and not labeled making editing difficult. Changes sometimes do not save to to strange JS behavior when moving the blocks in admin.

It will show like this. It is normal as the Parent menu already showing in the top. It will not be repeated twice.
This is how system works. Its just a matter of thinking to manage only.

Hello, I am aware that the row will not be repeated. I am stressing that this is difficult to work with and because the items do not remain in a single row - that they should be labeled somehow with the top level child / group title and not "selected items."

Also, the second part of my post remains that when trying to move positions on these items, it is frequently happening that while "dragging" - the block goes crazy/blurry/jerks around as if it does not want to be moved. I feel like this could be improved.

At the moment its not possible to change as this is only request raised that it does not work as you want. If there are more request for same i will share the feedback to concern team as this will impact many users site those already happy with current flow.

Thanks for the note back. Though, if the dev team added a function so that when the columns stack that the text shown shows the parent item or group title this will not impact workflow. It will make it easy to see which on is which without having to open each. For menus with many column blocks, there is just no way to tell.

Also, separate from this request, there is still the issue of the bug I have mentioned couple times. To recreate this, make a menu with 5,6,7 columns so they stack like in my screen shots. Then just try moving them around into another position. You will see that the blocks jerk, shake, and sometimes do not want to go into place. It seems to be slightly intermittent but will happen 100% if you attempt to move a few times. It just makes managing the large menu difficult.

Both these notes if corrected will improve the admin UI for a better experience.

Let's forget about the first part about updating the text shown in the column block.

There is a bug with strange behavior when moving column positions. At times the blocks start jerking around like they are being electrocuted and do not want to stay in place and sometimes revert back to the original position.

It's seems like an intermittent JS issue. I was able to get things moved as needed, but after some struggle. So I assume at some point I won't be the only one and would be something the devs may want to check into sometime.

it is not clear what issue you are facing as i checked fresh installation of T4 and it working normal to select the menu items in dropdown.
You can put the site online and share the steps or screenscast that explain better, as without proper details it is hard to assume the problem on your site.

Please note the following:
1. Can you see the strange javascript behavior? The jerking? It's infuriating!
2. With a 5 column mega menu, trying to move positions does not work. Once you save and movement, it reverts back. It is impossible to edit.
2. It is very frustrating because the tabs read "selected items" - it should have text input for the name of the top level group menu item or something we can input in admin so we know which column it is.
3. If the admin UI needs more width, the devs should make the ability for us to widen the T4 portion of the admin and shrink the front-end website view.

These really need improved. More importantly, it seems nobody thought of large mega menus with more than 3 columns. This needs fixed. Right now, the only work-around is to delete the mega menu and rebuild in the exact order you need to appear - because you cannot move or edit. This is a bug.
