T4 Blank BS5 Mega Menu CSS Column Class

I believe at some point a CSS class was added to T4 Blank for adding a CSS class to mega menu columns. It appears to have been removed from the new BS5 version on Joomla 4.

This is very helpful to both style things like background color and column elements.

Can we add this back?

There is no option removed , the custom extra class option is for the Parent menu item as you look on the selected child columns. you can check the doc here https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/t4-framework/navigation-settings
All these docs are same for all templates based on T4.

Thanks for sharing documentation - though I am already familiar. If I was mistaken that this feature did once exist - then I apologize. In this case, can someone log this as a feature request. Adding a field to the the column for class should not be too hard to mark up and will provide a lot of flexibility with styling. It's common to need things like background colors or need to isolate items in a given column for style.

The only way to accomplish this now is with crazy amounts of css calling (nth) etc - which is horrible and breaks if placement changes.

Request is already raised but it was not working in current view, it is still open however.
You apply the css as parent item and then nth child item via custom css if you need specific change. or there is also the ID classes in each menu item.

Right. That works for some items - but a column class is sooooo much easier. Thanks for the update on the open request.
