T4 BS5 Off-Canvas Pushes Page Content

Hello,

We have experimented with a couple of the off-canvas effect settings. When activating on desktop and even when choosing "overlay" - the background page content is still shifting / getting bumped about 20-30 pixels when opening.

Can we correct this?

Hi Saguaros,

I've changed edit fields to a new T4 BS5 site that is public and included login.

We have set the off-canvas menu in admin to be "overlay" - the default is push.
The 3rd option "Reveal" does nothing. It is the same as "Push".
When clicking the off-canvas button, the website container shifts to the right 20-30px.
I can't really take a screen shot of that. Just click the off-canvas on/off - on/off and you'll see the site moving.
Being an overlay, it seems it should not be affecting the background container.

kars When you click the off-canvas button and the off-canvas sidebar appears, it will push site to the right, it's correct now.

And the overlay is also working:

The original problem I mentioned is still occurring. I have switched the off-canvas effect back to "Overlay."

Overlay works. The issue is that when overlay occurs / click off canvas button, the background and header are jerking to the right / shifting about 20-30 pixels.

Being it is an overlay, it should be loading on top of the site without pushing content at all, right?

So you can test this by clicking off-canvas on/off, on/off and watch the background (header). It jerks.

Which browser are you using? as I can't replicate at my end.

The issue is occuring on all browsers on both macOS and PC. I have including a video link below. This also demonstrates that the issue is not layout specific - it happens on all pages.

You will see when activating "off-canvas" with "overlay" that the entire website background is shifting about 20 pixels.

This does not occur in mobile browser on iOS.

kars It's weird that I can't reproduce the same issue at my end, let me forward to T4 team if they can replicate and get it fixed.

Hi Saguaros,

That works. As a note, the setting for "Reveal" still seems incorrect. It is not reveal - it is push. So both push and reveal inside JA amin settings do the same exact effect. I think the style for "reveal" is missing and "push" was applied to that setting too.
