JA Blockk Template Edit Errors

Hello,

When trying to edit and save changes in Blockk template admin, I have been presented with two errors. The first was a page that stated T4 Framework needs to be installed. It is, this is quickstart. I could not replicate it to take a screenshot.

The second error is the screenshot below. It happens after making any change in the template admin. Please also not the second screenshot of some additional files I found in site installation. Not sure if they are related.

And here are some files I found. Not sure if they should be here after installation.

These files are correct so don't worry.

I just tried to install Quickstart package of JA Blockk Joomla 4 + install sample data for Magz1 style of template but saving settings in template works properly.

There maybe something wrong with your installation, if you've not customize much on this site, you can consider to re-install it.

3rd time installing this quickstart. It also occurs on another project site using T4 Blank template. It's intermittent - and only occurs when saving certain functions. Maybe 1 out of 3 times clicking saves the error occurs. I am using Safari and also toggling between multiple installations.

Also, regarding the files I took a screenshot of, why is there a template XML (freebie) that is in the main public_html folder. For the install.php and install.script.php - if the site has been installed already can these be removed?

kars I can confirm the same with quickstart package of this template in J4.

'configuration.php' is important file - DON"T remove it

you can remove other files: blockk_freebie_1.xml, blockk_freebie_pkg_1.xml, install.php, install.script.php

I reported to the team to update this quickstart package again.

Thanks for the note back. I see I accidentally highlighted the configuration.php file in my screen shot - and yes, we won't be deleting that one haha.

I will remove the others. As a note, I am experiencing the same issue on T4 Blank BS5 in another installation when trying to save template settings. The team may want to check the T4 BS5 for Joomla 4 as well.

Hi kars Maybe it happens on your server specific? I tested in my local but saving template settings still works normally.

If you have issue with T4 Blank template also, pls submit a new discussion and share login info there so the team can follow.

Saguaros, I believe the issue might be exclusive to the Safari browser. Can you please test in Safari.

It occurs on any T4 installation on Joomla for in Safari - multiple sites. It is 100% not our web server.

kars Do you mean error message when saving template or additional files after installation? If it's error message, pls follow that topic, I will close this for now.
