I have a bug in the registration module. It doesn't allow registration via the normal method. It does allow registration by the joomla fb connect extension from SourceCoast.

On your site i see the registration is off, kindly check the Joomla user options and allow user registration to yes
it will show the option
Jomsocial support jfb connect and if you using that it will give option for the same to use the form and social logins
About welcome message do you referring the email or the frontpage
Get Connected! message?
I deliberately turned off regular registration as it was producing an error. I have now turned it on again for you to identify the bug. source coast said it was an issue with jomsocial.
Also, the text in the header banner on the frontpage. We have the default message "Get connected! Come and join our community. Expand your network and get to know new people!" Where do I edit that text? I can not find it anywhere in the module or plugins.
The regular registration module is now working correctly. Can you advise me how to change the text in the header?

I can see click on registration goes to the JomSocial. Further JS use own registration and if you turn off 3rd party extension it work same.

Also the Get connected text is showing already.. If you want to change it you can make an override of it in Joomla language override. Or edit file com_community.ini in site root folder en-GB
