2 identical items displayed on frontpage

Hi,

we have a small issue on our website. There are 2 identical items on our website displayed. how can we solve this issue so there can be displayed a other item..

I checked your site home page and with name SP Flevoland: ‘Trek stekker uit Datacenter Zeewolde’
There is only one article.
If you are using 2 different modules to show articles and selected same categories it could not be controlled as you selected 2 different items. You can choose different categories to show on different modules.

Thanks for you reply.

During the moment you checked we already placed some new items. As you can see the position right top (circle) as wel left below (circle) are always the positions where the items are double.

We use for the top the module mod_jacontentlisting. The last (oldest) item is the same as shown in the items which is on the home-page menu item. It would be a great advantage if the first item is not displayed.

Website is build on joomla 4 - with block ja template (done by joomlart)

Its not relate to Module or template If you use default Joomla modules as well and use 2 different modules they will work independent and display the articles that is selected from category.
In your screenshot it appear you are using 2 different modules?

The menu output and the Module are 2 different sections.
Kindly check they not coming from one output. Both work standlone.
The menu output is at Mainbody and module output you added in screenshot.

Thats correct but The template is build that it display The first X items. In our case five. If The module is “separate” it should display The same as above …

I think you still misunderstood it.
There is no change if you use any other template or module as well
Since top section is from a Module and below its Mainbody.

if you selected same output on both places it will display as its now as same category is selected to show the articles.

if you want that both the section not show same article you need to select different categories. It would not be changed as one section depend on other.

Can you please check my previous replies as it found same on both Joomla versions and 2 different sections. you can even check it on JA Block demo site.

After update to joomla 4.0.5 it has been changed to 2 items displayed.
So on the lead and below with the images
The first 5 items are from template, and second is menu item which displayed from the template the 8 items as configured
