Prevent White Flash upon Page Load using Dark Theme?

Hello - Is there a way to use CSS to prevent the white flash when I navigate to a different page within my site? When I click on a link that takes me to another page, it flashes white for a second before the page loads. Is there a way to change the page background to black instead, so that it is not as noticeable since I'm using the dark theme?

Hi saguaros don't worry about it. You helped me make the dark theme default and remove the display of the toggle which is what I wanted. Thanks again!
