T4 Masthead Element visibility on subcategories

I made a layout in T4-Framework. In that layout there is a section row with the masthead element, so when you make a menu item and on Page Display tab you type the desired title, the masthead is shown and everything is fine.

Well in my case, this is a blog with a lot of sub categories. On the first page the masthead is shown but if you click a sub category (which is an inheritance design of the parent category, the masthead disappears.

It is impossible to make menu items for each children category. Is there a solution or an idea how can i show a masthead on these subcategories?

The layout will apply based on the Menu item assignment of the template style and not for each category.
You may try JA Masthead Module in this case that gives you option to choose different BG for different Menu items. You can download it from templates download pages.
