Videos filter doesnt work

the filter in videos page (Most discussed, Most popular, etc) doesn't work.

Please help.

I did some tests using the staging site.

When i install the jomsocial version 478 or older then the URL of video filter/sort is normal

(......net/videos?sort=mostwalls for Most discussed,
...net/videos?sort=mostviews for Most popular,
...net/videos?sort=featured for Featured)

The long and strange URL that causes the problem appears when i install versions 479 and 480.

Kindly use latest version of JomSocial first as debug process and just shared the site login that has issue present.
it seems issue is only on your site as its not found on demo and new install.

Login is the same for staging site and live site.
Staging has jomsocial 478 (works ok) and live has 479 (problematic sorting URL).

Steps to replicate the issue:
1) Go to live site videos page ...net/videos

2) Click to sort by eg 'Most discussed'.
It works but the URL is ' videos?ark_inine_enabled=0&sort=mostwalls ' instead of ' videos?sort=mostwalls '

3) Click to sort by eg Featured.
Doesn't work.
URL is very long and strange.

Ok, i installed latest version of Jomsocial 480 in my staging site and now has the issue present.
Login details shared also.

The issue on your site only maybe one of 3rd party extension changing url. I shared it to dev team to check and will get back to you.

Change line 24 to

$queries = $jinput->get->getArray();

It worked for staging site but not for live site.

Eg: if i select sort by 'most discussed'

in staging site the sorting URL is https://staging1.....net/videos?sort=mostwalls and is correct,

but in live site the 'videos' part is not there

https://www....net/?sort=mostwalls and is not correct.

Any solution please?

On staging site kindly create the Video menu item like i did.
On live site Video menu is missing .

I don't want to have this menu item visible.

So in staging site i select "No" in "display in menu" of "link type".

But the item is still there.

Any suggestions?

Without the Video menu items it would not get it in URL the link type is wrong as no menu item
You can add the video menu item in Hidden menu or set the menu title not to display.
