Changing Footer colour

Hi, I wanted to change the colour of the footer module ( last bottom section with the copyright ) only. When I change the footer colour via the layout setting in templates it changes the colour of the footer nav modules as well. Please what's the best way to do this

For only copyright part u can use this code in custom css and change color as per needs

.theme-home-1 .t4-footer .footer {
    background: red;
}

Hi Pankaj, thanks for this. However the colour only covers about 80% of the footer with the code. I tried adding width:100% to the code but could not get it to cover the whole width. What do you suggest

this is max width of the copyrights block container as rest of footer is parent container.
