featured article tiles in Masthead not lining up.

There 3 issues to be addressed. 2 are outlined in the same image below

Why does the tiles not line up, or what keeps them from liniing up.
How to control when an image is larger/more prominent than other featured articles on the home page.
Is Alphabetical order the only method to sort the featured articles, and if not how do I change it?

I might mention this in another topic that you can enable the extra in article settings for double height for the image of article:

To control the order, you can go to module settings and change the order as you wish:

For the text "What we do", do you mean the title of module, right? You can add this custom CSS:

Also on the home page, the first section of the Masthead the text " What we do" is wrapping when there is more than enough room available. How does this get addressed?
