Joomla 5.2.3 Compatibility for JA Templates, Bug Fixes, and More

Hi. There is something strange happening when I add an image for an article or video thumbnail. The path looks like this: images/clanki-slike/reiner-fuellmich.jpg#joomlaImage://local-images/clanki-slike/reiner-fuellmich.jpg?width=1200&height=800 and the image in the article (video thumbnail) is not displayed correctly.
I have checked demo articles with video and the path is ok, withgout #joomlaImage://etc..., so when the image was added the link was as it should be, but if I try to change the image in the same demo article, then this path is changed as described before, it is added #joomlaImage://local-images/...etc. So something must be wrong with the system or settings.
You can check two new articles with video here: https://nova.triglavmedia.si/novice/svet where the intro image is displayed correctly, but after you click on the article, you will see that the thumbnail image is not found and displayed. Later the video is loaded and then this is displayed.
Any suggestions what might cause this problem?

Best regards

    Hi jernejm

That format of image path is from default of Joomla 4, you can test with default Joomla 4 and see the same.

But the image should still display correctly, could you share the super admin account of your site so I can take a look?

It looks the problem is only with the video plugin. On other articles the images are displayed correctly.
How do you want me to send login details (I can't post it here publicly). Should I send it through Skype?

      saguaros
I have sent the login data on Skipe.
By the way: if I enter login data in the field you suggest, then this is probably not visible publicly?

jernejm It seems that the thumbnail doesn't show for other resource for video. I've reported to our dev team for further checking.

jernejm By the way: if I enter login data in the field you suggest, then this is probably not visible publicly?

Yes, it's visible to Moderators only.

        Hi

Do you use any other source for video or just iframe only?

With iframe, it supports to show video already so I don't think the thumbnail is needed there.

        Hi
There are several issues with the "Video" system in JA Good template:
        1. the "JA template play button" stays on the videos added by iframe in video articles, after clicking it (so I have disabled it in custom css)
        2. because I have disabled the display of "JA template play button" (in css) the Youtube videos don't load correctly in the articles
        3. on the "Video" section, where all videos are displayed, the ones which are added by iframe don't load in the top frame, where they are supposed to be displayed (Youtube videos are displayed correctly) - issue reported here: https://www.joomlart.com/forums/d/39289-video-not-loaded-correctly
        4. it doesn't matter if most of the videos are added by iframe or Youtube because sometimes I want to use other thumbnail than the default displayed in video so it is not ok if the option for video thumbnail is not working correctly.

So you have to fix the issue with the template play button on videos added by iframe (so it is hidden after clicking it) and the issue with display of videos added by iframe on the Video section.

It would be great if your tech support would check these issues instead of looking for shortcuts!
Before they reply with some other solution how to "avoid" the issues, it would be good if they check issues with videos added by iframe. It is certainly not good for JA reputation if the templates are not working correctly. After all they are not free and I had to buy this template.

jernejm I will check with team for that issue and get back to you.

          a month later

Anything new regarding issues with the video articles?

jernejm Our developer is working on it, I will get back to you shortly.

I updated 2 files on your site:

            Kindly check.
