Turned around setting site

I've gotten myself really turned around trying to set up ja_lens with the grid on the front page.

I have an up-to-date J3.10.5 site and have ja_lens and K2 updated as well. For the life of me, I do not know how to set things up so that the grid works as the demo.

Where and how do I set things so that my content is displayed in the grid?

To make the website like in the demo.
You can also install quickstart package on the localhost to see how its configured in demo site.

Thanks for that.

I have the articles showing up in the grid view after giving the documentation another try (it's hard because the screenshots are for Joomla 2.5 and at least one is a broken link) and going point by point looking at the quickstart I also installed.

Now I am wondering how to make it so that the years and item count number does not show up in the Grid view. I only want article thumbnails there.

This is pretty older template so the time it released there was only Joomla 2.5 version.
Can you share the URL of site here and let me know with a screenshot which part u want to hide?

Here is a screenshot of the quickstart site.

In the grid, I don't want the boxes with the years. I only want content to show in the grid

I'd also like to not have the linear/grid selector and the timeline dropdown (also marked in the screenshot)

}

    display: none;}
