Where can I find T3 assets folder in joomla?

I am using joomla 3 and I am trying to customize my template. Firebug is saying my css files are in T3 assets folder. I have been looking for that folder but I cant find it. would you mind helping me with some pointers where I can find the folder?

The t3 assets folder is temp used to store the css and and js in site root folder.
You can turn off the css compression from the template style option and it will load the files directly from the css folder in the template.
