We are using latest Version of Joomla 4.0.6 and JA Event Camp Quickstart for Joomla 4.
When we open any of the seeded JoomlArt Advanced Custom Modules there is no values visible ....all are empty.
When we created a complete new JoomlArt Advanced Custom Module with any type and then add rows and select pictures and fill the field with values and save, then they are all visible and all is fine.
But as soon as we save & close and then reopen the same module, then all is blank ....no pictures visible and no values. Any changes are not being reflected on the frontpage.

We raised the same issue in different thread in the past already.

That time the issue was fixed by re-uploading the Template and JA ACM module.

But since we upgraded to latest version of ACM Module 2.2.8 we are facing same issues again.
This time I have no solution and idea how to fix the issue.

      thanks for fast reply and your test.
      When I check your new JA ACM module 'Test' it was ok and entry still listed.

      But please check my existing modules 'Partner' (Clients style-1), 'Das Kulturforum Freiburg Team dahinter' (Teams style-1), 'Unsere Sponsoren (Clients style-1) .....they are all empty in backend but when you check on frontend all is fine and content visible.
      This was all o.k. at the beginning when I initially created the modules but then after some time (most likely after ACM module updates), I discovered that they are empty.

      I tested further and adjusted existing ACM module and added new entry and selected one image and saved it.
      After saving the record even completely disappeared ....

      Now I created a complete new one called 'Another Test' (with clients style-1) and added two entries and saved it.
      I opened it again and all is empty !

      I am not sure why you were able to create Test......and I am always facing issues.
      What are you doing differently ?

      This is independent from the Browser and I tested it with Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

      I just made another test with module 'JA Test' , but after I closed and opened module again, info is still there.

      thanks for testing another time.

      I checked and opened your 'JA Test' and it looks o.k.
      Then I opened your first test called 'Test' and this one is now suddenly empty !!!!

      I have created number of additional tests with different Browsers and everytime I can reproduce the issue.

      Two cases:
      1 - Creating module and just save it.....and the entries are immediately deleted
      2 - Creating module and save & close - then reopen and it is empty.

      On frontend everything looks fine.

      I am very desperate on this issue. There is defintely something wrong since I can reproduce the case every single time !

      have you watched my recordings ? You have to admit that this is a strange issue, isn't it ?

      I have now by the way performed my tests on a complete different PC with other browser - but the issue is always reproducible. And it is the same issue on main site and on development site.

      I do confirm that when you are performing a test it is working fine and I can see it is o.k. when I open 'Test4'.

      Interesting thing is that I have precisely followed your test case Test 4 and submitted my one Test5 with exact same values with one line/entry and one picture and it also worked fine for me.
      But then I have opened it again and added one new line and image and saved it and re-opened and now all is blank.

      May I kindly ask you to do the same with your 'Test4' please.

      Furthermore may I kindly ask you to also confirm that when you open one of my test cases (f.i. 'Test5') that is it also empty on your Browsers in backend while the content is ok. on frontend !?

        mberwing Yes, I did check your video recording: create module >> add image / link / title >> save >> close but it worked perfectly. I can't replicate this issue at my end.

        I will check with our team tomorrow and see if they can replicate issue or not.

          But I checked your case 'Test4' and have not noticed that you performed the test I asked you for.

          May I kindly ask you to do the same what I did with your 'Test4' please and add a second entry now and save it and reopen again. So far there is only the first entry that you did when you initially created it.

          I am becoming very desperate really that the issue only happens to me but on every Browser and different sites.

          thanks another time for your efforts and checks.

          1 - All is fine with your two tests 'Test4' and 'Test6' with just one item.
          Would you please be so kind and really do another test on your modules and add a second item and save it again and check whether you can still see the content.

          2 - Can you please create a complete new ACM module and add three or more items with images and save it and check whether it is ok.

          3 - And last but not least please confirm when you open 'Test' that also for you there is all empty and no content ?
          This was the first of my tests.
          Just want to make sure that you also see empty modules

          Remark:
          I have really tested every single ACM Module type

          There are no issues with type Slideshow (style-owl), Contact Info, Feature Info, Social Style and Time Events - with style1
          So I can add items and save them and open again and they are still visible and fine ;-)

          But this is NOT WORKING with type Sample Layout, Clients, Teams with style 1.
          When I add for any number of items (lets say 4 or 5 records) I can still see my images and content. When I save and close it and reopen it, then there are only two records left and all fields are empty.
          This issues exists on our three installations with Joomla4 and EventCamp Quickstart - but there is no single issue with our same installation of EventCamp with Joomla3

              thanks so much that you can reproduce the issue as well - finally.

              It really depends on the number of items. Just with one it seems all is fine - but if you add another one or more (>1) then the issue happens and after saving everything is empty. Interestingly when you add f.i. three, four or more items, then after saving and reopening you have always two entries - but empty.
              When you check on frontpage you can see that all the three or more items are visible and all seems to be fine.
              This is so weird !!!!!

              As stated in my last update you can see the types in ACM Module that have this issue.

              Hopefully you guys can find out what the issue is and why this happens.

                  I am having something "possibly" similar happening with my Modules. I'm using JA AIGA, would this be somehow related?

                  Serious problem created by tech agent installing JA ACM module over my working module.

                  by updating or what ever was done by installing the JA ACM module has broken most of my "Modules" when i turn off/on Modules my entire website breaks. It's not all modules though...so it's a bit odd.

                  For example:"Our Clients"

                  1. no longer has the Module parameters first page

                    Not sure how you update / install this module on your site but as I can see that all types in JA ACM module lacks of config.xml file:

                    /templates/ja_aiga/acm/clients/config.xml

                    I updated this file for you and it's ok now.
