Text disappears after adding a picture

Version 4.7.9

On the home page activity stream creating a new post, when one adds text, and then adds a picture, the text disappears. That means all that work is now gone and they have to recreate it.

(This can be seen in the demo)

Uploading a Photo is different type of post and when you make a normal post its text postbox. Click on the Photo open new media entry as photos and both could not work together.

Is it possible to have a warning if they click on another post type after they have already started a text post? Otherwise, it creates a very bad user experience when they think they are just adding a picture.

(I'd also like to submit this for a future upgrade, because a lot of people write first, and then add picture/video second.)

There is no warning as it normal process to change the view. I will share the feedback to dev team on this as upload photo text type is different as media.

Ok, I would stress to the developers that this behavior is different than every other social network (facebook, linkedin, etc) and creates a negative situation for users as they lose all their work.
