2 - Can you give some more details? what your image appears to show is part of a temp,ate layout but I am not quite sure what you are asking.
3 - The feature you are asking about was part of a yoojoomla package. Not one I am familiar with. It is not a feature built in to T4 but there are plenty of lightbox plugins available in the JED. You would need to have a look there and see which one fitsyour workflow and needs best
