Second Mega Menu in Custom Header Block

Hello,

I am trying to figure out what is the correct code for T4 to manually add a second mega menu into a header block. For example, we have another menu names "accountmenu."

This of course works from within T4 Navigation editor by assigning the menu name to the second mega menu but we are not sure what code to utilize when doing this in a custom header.

Hi Saguaros,

We are tying to add second mega menu to custom header block. The documentation shows steps for adding to regular layout where there is a column to assign. We've cloned the header-2 block to make additional changes and now add the second menu.

The code we are using is:

 <div class="t4-navbar mx-auto collapse-static">
    <jdoc:include type="element" name="megamenu" menutype="accountmenu" />
  </div>

But this loads a second instance of the main mega menu - not the "accountmenu" which we want to load. I am not sure which other parameters we can use here.

kars Could you share the login info and screenshot of how you want to achieve so I can check? it's hard to guess what you want to do and suggest.

Hi Saguaros,

I've added login in "Edit Fields." The first screenshot above is probably the best as it shows exactly what we are trying to do. We just cannot find documentation on what php menu class or element to use for T4.

We have cloned header-2 and named it custom-header. We need to add a second mega menu to this custom clone header. The menu name we have is "accountmenu"

We can get a second mega menu to load, but it only loads a second copy of the mainmenu - even when we add the name "accountmenu" as parameter. The available documentation only seems to work if you do not use a custom header and need the second mega menu outside the mainnav group. We need ours off on the right - just like many websites that have a second drop-down off to the side for login/account stuff.

You need to add title param to differentiate with the default megamenu as below:
