T4 Sub-Layout Section Positioning

Hello,

We noticed that in T4 sub-layout, all the template positions are moved to child divs inside the T4 main-body.
This is creating a couple CSS issues with template and section padding. I am curious if this was intended that when sub-layout is utilized - that sections like bottom and footer become child divs of main-body?

Here is sub-layout. Notice how section divs are moved "inside" main-body div.

It depends on the section you added into the sub-layout, try to clone a layout that you want to have a sub-layout and add section you wish for it.

Yep, we got that. We're just making a layout without a sidebar position next to component.

My question is more about the placement of the sub-layout within the main-body div. The sub-layout places all the sections - including bottom and footer inside mainbody. This for example, adds padding to the bottom (blank space) from the default template.css padding. No big problem. But, we have some CSS targeting the mainbody and now it affects footer and bottom on sub-layout pages because the they are all moved to inside mainbody versus below it.

I was just checking if this was the normal behavior.

Hi Saguaros,

Thanks for confirming this - I did not think it was supposed to load this way. I am assuming that a file got corrupted on update or initial installation. I patched in / override all the layout files (json) and the issue is corrected.
