On ALPHA, how can i replace the arrows with something more noticeable? like a PNG? These arrows are really thin.

So for example the testimonials arrows?

Template uses svg image for these arrows:

Those images locate in: ROOT/templates/ja_alpha/images/ folder

You can change to your image and override CSS as you wish.
