Create a pop up image

Hello.
Can you please let me know if we can add custom javascript somewhere in your T4 framework (T4 Blank Template Bs5) ?
I want to make a pop up image follow this:

But I dont see somewhere to add the javascript it needs .

I have also try the modals from here: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.5/components/modal/
But they are not working .
PS. I dont want to add JED extension if there is already in library bootstrap the framework it uses.

Hi
If you want to add it a specific menu item you can use custom HTML module instead and publish it on that page.
If you want to add it for complete site open template style options > Global settings > Custom Code.

I want to have in on a module placed in the footer of the site .
I cant add javascript code in the Global settings > Custom Code : https://prnt.sc/UyUgEGiOzK-m

But can I ask why also the modals of boostrap are not working ? I have add the site in the post fields if you want to check the footer and my try with boostrap modals.

Its not working .
Is possible to have a full guide for a pop up image in your template ?
Take advance of the Bootstrap or whatever script and not install other module from JED for this .

Can you check the script output with default Joomla template?
As the scrip work depends if all style is there. on the example js fiddle site you have custom code.
Via script tag it will load the scrip in the source code . On JED there are different extension you can try as by default the modal plugin and module.
I will check the default model code if supported and update you.
