hi.. how can we resize the slideshow module please?

You can override via CSS:

.acm-slideshow .item {
    height: 1000px;
}

and change to your desired value.

grateful if you could guide on how to do this please? sorry i am a novice when it comes to css overrides, we have been happy users of joomlashine where everything could be done via a GUI

For example, the height of the slide now is: 1000px

To override this style, you go to Backend >> System >> Site Template Styles >> open JA Helple template style >> Tools >> edit custom CSS and add your custom code there:

I just added for sample, you can edit the value as you wish.
