iPad problems with displaying sub menus

Hello,
my client just told me about an issue with iPad and the sub menus not displaying.
There should be a submenu in "SERVICES" and "KONTAKT", both set up as seperators, so only the submenus have content, but these won't fold out.

Also the zoom effect on the article images seem not to work on iPad (I can't proof this as I dont use iPads.)

Do you know how to solve this issue?

UPDATE:

The sub-menu items don't show in landscape view of iPad, let me check with our team if there is solution on this.

For the zooming image, could you share the URL of that page?

Here for example, the last pic, the skyscrapers, zoom in on desktop. This is not as important as the not working sub menu on iPad.

I don't have an iPad either, but the client told me, that he checked on several different ones, with the same issue, submenu won't show.

About the sub-menu item, we updated this file on your site:

/templates/gk_photo/js/gk.menu.js

added this line:

item = jQuery(item);

above this line:
item.removeClass('gk-active');

Pls clear cache and check again.
