I'm trying to install the quickstart Joomla 3 version, but got following error:
Index column size too large. The maximum column size is 767 bytes.
Can you help, plz?

I guess it due to the database collation you're using. Could you change the collation to utf8_general_ci and install again?

Thx for your reply. I installed it with that collation. I allready tried latin too... no use 🙁

You mean on my localhost? Yes, i allreade made sites with it

its only one table: Table 'grafi_web_me_filip.#__j2store_orderitems' doesn't exist

godotfalco No, I mean the place where you're trying to install quickstart package. Because the quickstart package is the same with Joomla package but with sample data of our template.

You can try to install Joomla package there and see how it goes.

Hello Sagauros

The normal Joomla template worked, that was not the problem.
I changed php version and PhpMyAdmin, no use.

Then I edit
C:\wamp64\bin\mysql\mysql8.0.27\my.ini
and change config for innodb-default-row-format value from
innodb-default-row-format=compact
to innodb-default-row-format=dynamic
i restarted mysql and it works 🙂
