Migration Options won't save

Hi there,

I'm going to use the migrator component to just move categories one at a time, or at least in groups, but I can't get any of the Options to save.

Each time I go to Article Options and match categories, or set them to Ignore... I then save and the main Article Options tab displays but all of the Import options have gone back to Auto.

I've also tried just running the import without any settings, just a test, but it tells me I haven't set any options!

I'm running Joomla 3.10.8 on PHP 7.3 with K2 2.10.3

Any ideas why this isn't saving?

Hi Nathan,

It seems happen in your site specific as I tried to replicate this issue at my end with the same environment but it can still save the settings properly.

Let me check further on this and will get back to you.

Hi Nathan,

The value of PHP input vars is not enough to handle in this case. You can increase value for max_input_vars directive on your server side to 2000 or above. It can be set in .htaccess, php.ini ... or it's better to contact your hosting provider for help to increase this value for you.

Sorry, took me a little while to get back to it but happy to report that has indeed fixed the problem.

And I understand it's due to the large number of categories and extra fields so thanks very much for the solution!
