Default User group & Profile Privacy

I have 3 questions. And thank you all, this is the best support group on the internet.

1) I have 3 different user groups for Jom Social. Regular members, staff, and clients. When a new member joins, they have to choose which category of profile they want. Is it possible to just make them default to regular member?

2) When a member signs up, they can see everything from everyone. I'd like to make it so they don't see anyone elses stream or posts unless they're friends. I made a test account, and I could see everything my admin account has done. + I could see the entire member list.

3) Can the member list not show all members unless they're on a "staff account" group?

When you create multiple profile option it will allow users to select a profile from the given list only. Default layout work when you do not use multi profile.
For privacy you can reset the default privacy in customized profile option and set to whome u want to show field user can also change there privacy during registration.

For last question i am afraid it is not possible the way you need the permission.

Also your screenshot privacy work when you click on Reset privacy and then change and save for previous members.

So if I have a client join the platform, theres no way to keep their account private from other people seeing what is on their stream? I was hoping that the only info shown was with accepted friends.

Private groups seem to be the only way to keep details private?

edit: i see the view option for "all streams" and one for just friends. Maybe theres a way to disable all streams option and only allow "my friends and i" for viewing?

When a user created an account on the site he can put his privacy himeself not by default for specific member
He can edit the profile and set the privacy to only me and it will work.

Private groups only visible to members part of it.

For stream when a member posting on the wall steam he can put the condition from option to show it to friends only but it is individual choice of each member.
