This has been working correctly. Now when either inviting a friend or requesting an invite the emails aren't received. The joomla test email is working correctly.

I am using a test email address for this donethat@cavespider.co.uk. Which has worked previously. To reuse it I have deleted the user from the user manager to rerun the test. Is this the problem?

It seems Cronless is no longer working and I have set up the task in Easy Cron and the problem appears to be resolved.

I do have another question. How can I add an approval link to the admin email for new registrations?

      Hi
Activation link is auto generate when new user activate is set to Admin or user both cases.

The user Joomla user options are already set to require Admin, See attached.

        Hi
Allow registration is set Off on your website and these option work when you allow user registration.
You can see the new invitation in the JomSocial > Pending Invitation

I have put a 'Request Invitation' on the homepage. This correctly links to a form to request the invitation. When this is completed an email goes to Admin to inform them of the request. Is there a way of putting a link on this email so that admin can approve a request directly.

As above I asked why the approval link doesn't appear on registration requests. If I turn on 'Allow user registration' in the Joomla settings then the 'Request invitation' form is no longer available. Try it, you'll see.

          Hi
I raised a request to dev team over this issue for further fix.

Sorry, joms can't support link to approve invitation in term of security reason. But we can add the link of view Pending Invitations at backend. Is that ok with you?

Yes that would be useful, thank you. I see you have been trying this out. Is this something you'll be addressing in future versions?

While you're at it, is there a chance to edit the email templates? Then maybe we can add links as seems necessary ourselves.
