Pick right plugin for doctors page

Hello I wanted to install proper extension for making doctors page with filters. There is list of plugins, but I don't know which plugin will be relevant to make doctros page like in Healthcare template? Can I know what plugins I need to install from the list?

Doctors are K2 content items on your site, right?

If so, you need to install:
- JA Megafilter component
- JA Megafilter module
- JA Megafilter K2 plugin

Which content are you using for doctor now on your site? of course, you must install K2 first to create content for it lol

I have never used K2 that's why I was asking. And there are many extensions of K2. Which K2 extension do I need to install?

I thought you're using Joomla 3, unfortunately, K2 is not ready for Joomla 4 yet.

We're also waiting for their update but no news for now.

JA Megafilter supports various content: Joomla articles, K2 content, Virtuemart, etc... so it will depend on the content type that you're using. If you're using Joomla articles, you can use JA Megafilter to filter content.

salamu In order to use with other content type, you need to install associated plugin so it can work.

In this case, you need to install JA Megafilter Joomla extra fields plugin in download section of JA Megafilter extension.

Yes, it works, That's the alternative I was waiting for 6 days. But I also have another problem. How can I add text to the full text and description fields when I make new content?

It will take the intro text and full text of article to show when you select these 2 fields.

In a Joomla article, the intro text and full text are separated by the readmore button 🙂

And after you setup / edit the filter or update new content, you need to index the filter so it can update on frontend.
