Template sidebars should appear on a page, but they're not.

I'm using a third-party component called EventsBooking. It is working perfectly, except for one area -- and I'm wanting to eliminate the possibility of template issues, before they have to do a clone of my site and debug. I'm hoping it's a simple template issue whose fault lies with me instead, so that can be avoided.

If you look at the following URL: https://libertyhall.stpcreative.com/live-events/upcoming-events/welcome-to-night-vale

You'll see that the Event Details output created by Events Booking fills the full width of the template, and that sidebars set to appear in position sidebar-l are not showing, despite being set in the Menu Assignment to appear (ie - Social and Upcoming Events modules). They should be there. But they're not.

Will you please have a look and help me determine why the Event Details pages are filling the full width, rather than showing the sidebars? I have ja_blockk - Gaming 2 as the Default for All Pages, so the sidebar should be there. The Social module is set to ALL PAGES, and Upcoming Events module is set to ALL PAGES EXCEPT, which doesn't include these Event Detail pages.

Your assistance in ruling out template issues is greatly appreciated.

Hi Matt

The detailed page will inherit the sublayout of template you set in Layout settings.

In the template style: ja_blockk - Gaming 2 you're using 'sublayout - Game2' sub-layout which did not have sidebar-l and sidebar-r positions so nothing showed there.

I just edited this sublayout and add these 2 positions. You can see module on details page now.

Not to nit-pick, but there's a vertical bit of white space between modules in the sidebar that is missing on the Event Details page. Hoping that's an easy fix?

@saguaros -- can I get a follow-up on that last bit about the margin/padding around the modules?

You can try with this custom CSS:

.sidebar-l .ebm-upcoming-events {
    padding-top: 20px;
    padding-bottom: 20px;
}

and change the value to suit your need.
