Adding ACM style to blank T4 template?

Hi all,

Is it possible to copy the ACM style from a regular template (ja_ego for example) to a blank t4 framework template?

I'm building a new site using a blank template however I'd like to incorporate one or two of the ACM module from another "production" template into the design.
I've tried using external scss complier to give me a css file that I can include, but I get a bunch of compile errors using the _ acm.scss file - seems strange but anyway.

By default ACM doesn't include any styling (shame) so I though I could copy over the scss file(s) and then get it to compile, would anyone know if this is possible?

You can copy that style of JA ACM module in template folder: /ja_ego/acm/

and past into the associated folder of JA ACM module in your current template: /templates/your_template/acm/

However, as you know that the style of JA ACM is supported specific with template it comes with, so you may need to customize the style to make it works properly.

I have tried that but then I get a bunch of scss compile errors so I'm guessing there are some additional files somewhere I'm missing?

May I know which style of JA ACM module are you trying to use?

saguaros I'm trying to setup a couple -

Features Intro both Style-6 and Style-2 (both from the Ego Beauty Spa home page)

and Features Intro Style-4 from the Ego - Hotel Resort home page.

I've setup a local quickstart install to compare JA Ego against my T4 framework blank template. In both cases I'm using ACM v2.2.9 on J!4.1.4

Hi Saguaros,

A couple of questions -

I'm must be missing a language file somewhere as I'm seeing the field titles missing. See enc screenshot
ACM is also missing the Extra Fields tab from within the Module config options? Is there a way to add that back?

To have the extra field tab, you need to copy the file:

/templates/ja_ego/etc/form/com_modules.module.xml

and past into the associated path in T4 Blank template:

/templates/t4_bs5_blank/etc/form/ (you may need to create this folder if it doesn't exist now).

About the translation for language constants in JA ACM module, you can look at language file of JA Ego template: /language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_ja_ego.ini

Find the translation for JA ACM Feature intro module:

;JA ACM Features Intro
FEATURES_BASIC_LABEL 		="General Settings"
FEATURES_BASIC_DESC 		=""
FEATURES_ALIGN_LABEL 		="Content Alignment"

.............

and add into T4 Blank template.
