When you set to display: none, it will help to hide from showing on frontend only, basically, it's still loaded.
To remove it completely, you need to edit this file:
/templates/ja_findus/html/com_content/article/listing-1.php
and remove the div for 'listing-sidebar' section. Here is sample so you can have comparison:
