Installation is not possible

Downloading then attempting to install T4 Framework For Joomla does not work. It's missing the XML setup file for installation.

The directions / documentation for installing T4 Page Builder & Framework is not correct.

I've downloaded all the files available, but it's overly complex for what should be simple to install and use. I was hoping to install, test and know that the software would work to create Web sites in Joomla 4. But, it looks like I'll have to seek other software.

If you select multiple files and download, it will zip these files into a single zip file and you need to unzip it first and install each package separately.

Lots of our customers are using T4 and have no installation issue.

I just downloaded plugin and installed in my local site and it worked normally:

I downloaded several files, but each was downloaded separately. I only selected 1 at a time to download.
I selected 1 to install, t4_pagebuilder_component_2.0.2.zip, and that installed successfully.
Then I selected "t4-framework-for-joomla-4.zip" and was met with the error missing XML install.
I've tried it several times with the same outcome.
I've also been using Joomla since it was Mambo, so this isn't my first rodeo.
I checked the zip to see if there were any other compressed files inside and there were not. But, I did find that there is no XML file for installation.
I don't know how much more clear I can be.
Extract "t4-framework-for-joomla-4-zip" and you will see there is no XML installation file.

This is the 'Quickstart package' - the same with default Joomla template and you use to install it for a new website only.

If you have Joomla installed on your site, you must download template package , not quickstart package and the plugin package:

I'm an a member going back a few years who retired and am now doing a new site (several years later) for a charity.
Am intrigued with the T4 Framework and I liked Shape5 back in the day. But, I am also repeatedly getting a message for JInstaller. "Install: Can't fine Joomla XML Setup File"
I've seen a number of comments from various Joomla shops that this usually means the Extension is corrupted or not compatable with the Joomla Edition. I've got the latest Joomla 4+ loaded.

Thank you. I'm about to buy a plan but am a bit confused. I am likely going to build two websites. So I'm fine with purchasing the JoomlaArt template Pro package and Extensions add-on. But should I purchase the T4 Page Builder or T4 Framework. If I have the templates, do I really need the PageBuilder? I'm thinking the T4 Framework might be more useful if I want to fiddle with the Template. Sorry, just getting back in the groove after a couple years out of the loop. Regards,

Glad to hear that you're interested in our products 🙂

1) T4 Page Builder is kind of a Joomla component, it's independent from template + framework and you can use T4 Page Builder with any template.
2) T4 framework is free and we use it to develop template so it's required when you use our recent templates. For example, if you use T4 Blank template, you must install T4 framework plugin. It's available in download section of any template that it comes with.

I guess it's my fault that I did not scour your entire site to FIND information about what each file is for. Since NONE of them has any information about their purpose, and I could NOT find any information in your documentation or wherever else I looked, it's well hidden that those files are for sites that have not been created.

Perhaps it would be a really good idea of you had posted documentation about the files "within" the area where you download the files.
