Hey Guys,

I'm trying to install Phio quick start for J4 and I get: You need MariaDB 10.1 or higher to continue the installation. Your version is: 5.5.68-MariaDB

If I do that, will my older J3 installations in the same server continue to work?

It's minimum requirement for MariaDB to run with J4, you can give it a try.

Hey saguaros thanks for getting back to me.
I understand that this is the minimum requirement for J4.
However, my question is:
Will my older domains with Joomla 3 be affected? I cannot afford to update the db and as a result all my J3 installations will stop working.

7of9 I don't have MariaDB to test so if you can clone your J3 site to a test site and try to use new version of MariaDB there first.
