Hi,

I noticed that menu bar looks different after migrating our sites with JA Flix 2.0.0 from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4.1(.5) using T4 Framework 2.1.9 or 2.2.0.

In Joomla 3, it looked like this:

In Joomla 4.1, it looks like this:

So the search icon is shown in a new line. I already noticed this on out test site test.ulc-moedling.at.

Btw, our site logo looks horizontally streched since a previous T4 Framework version. I cannot remember which.

Could you have a look into both issues please?

      I am afraid, no. It changes from here to there.
      But it does not seem to be a caching issue. Because it's always in a new line on our test site https://test.ulc-moedling.at/ that does not use caching (same login credentials as production site).

      I fixed the logo scaling problem tough: Flix used 300 x 67 pixels for the logo when I moved to Flix, but it was scaled to 215 x 48 lately. So I exported the logo in the new format. I cannot remember when this changed, but since Flix 2.0.0 was released from last August and this stretching problem was introduced later, I really suspect a T4 Template update (I am quite sure to remember that it changed after a T4 update).

        kondrich It due to the search module, in Joomla 4, it removes search module but use Smart search module instead. I will report to the team to support style for smart search module in J4.

          Do you mean Finder instead of Search plugins? I have been using Finder for a long time now.

            Yes, in J3, you have 2 search module: mod_search and mod_finder (this module is from Smart search component in backend)

            J4 keeps mod_finder - Smart search module only 🙂
