Social media and search missing in J4 version of magz2

We already have the Social module published in the "head-social" position but still nothing.

Also search module is totally missing from that in J3 version of template.

The code of header on your site is a bit different from default, I just updated this file:

/templates/ja_magz_ii/tpls/blocks/header.php

if ($headright = $this->countModules('head-search or languageswitcherload or head-social')) {
	$logosize = 'col-md-4';
}

the module is showing now

Thanks. How do i assign the search module? Would you help us to just assign it as per your J3 defaults.

I found the module overlapping the logo in mobile view. Maybe follow the J3 version and hide in mobile but show the search only

Chi-K Yes, you can configure to hide it on desktop view via Layout settings.

Chi-K When implementing this template, it uses Search module , however, in Joomla 4, Joomla removed this search module. I think you can use Smart search module instead.

Could you try to enable it for us.. Smart search dont have that big icon like joomla 3?
