How can I use Font awesome icons in the menu? I've inserted the classes into "Link Icon Class" under Link Options but nothing shows.

You can access Template styles of JA Ego >> Navigation >> select item you want and add class / icon as you wish:

actually the icon doesn't show in the offsite/mobile menu. how can I fix it?
romankl That off-canvas is menu module, you can try to add icon in the menu item.
that didn't work so I've used pseudo class implementation via custom CSS and that works for both.
