Menu doesn't open on mobile devices after upgrade to J4 and JA Simpli V2

Hi everybody

I updated recently to J4 and JA Simpli V2.

On screens with normal resolutions everything works fine. On small screens or when the window size is set very small (normal menu disappears and the 3 lines appears) nothing happens when i click on the 3 lines to open the menu.
Do you have some tipps / ideas how to solve this?

As I can see that there is JS error there when clicking the menu icon.

Do you have any 3rd party extension on your site? pls try to temporarily disable it to see which one causes this issue.

If there is still no go, you can share the super admin + ftp account of your site so we can help.

The same issue is on my website. The hamburger menu doesn't open on small screens devices.

I've tried to disable 3rd party extensions without success. 🙁

UPDATE:

It due to Bootstrap 5 in Joomla 4.

@ciaoroma I updated this file on your site: templates/ja_simpli/index.php

Line 140:

<button type="button" class="btn btn-navbar" data-toggle="collapse" data-target=".nav-collapse">

changed to:

<button type="button" class="btn btn-navbar" data-toggle="collapse" data-target=".nav-collapse" data-bs-toggle="collapse" data-bs-target=".nav-collapse">

This fix will be included in the next update of template also.
