Empty off canvas menu

I've been building templates with T4 Framework for a while now.
Now I am running into a problem.
I have the problem that I can open the menu on a smartphone, but then no menu items are visible.
In the Off canvas settings I do refer to menu which should be the source for the menu items.
Or am I thinking wrong now?

Solved.
The module for the menu was not assigned to the module position Menu.
