Is it possible to change the submenu width if it is not a megamenu?

In the title of this topic, you want to change sub-menu width of non-megamenu, right?

Sorry for not being clear. It is a megamenu but I haven't created it by building a megamenu. There is a screenshot below of the backend settings, but no way of changing the width of the drop-down and I couldn't see how to do this in CSS.

You need to enable 'Build Mega Menu' option and change the configuration there including width for sub-menu:
