Message Posted to the wrong group

One of our members posted a message in one of our discussion groups. The problem is, he posted it to the wrong group/topic and we need to simply move it to another group.

how do we do this?

I'm afraid that you can't change the group for a discussion at this moment. Pls delete that discussion and add a new one in correct group.

Not the answer I was hoping for as your product has been around for so long, I thought there would already be a way of doing this by now. I'm sure it happens a lot and as you know when people post to the wrong group it can be very annoying and gets people trolling each other.

Is there any plans to add this feature to JomSocial?

Hi,
There is on way to do this. But it needs change directly on database.
You can open table #__community_groups_discuss, find the discussion you want. Change groupid and creator to what ever you want.
