Item menu not valid

Hi,

After Joomla 4 migration I have obtain "Item menu not valid" in each docman document I tried to open through JA Megafilter layout.

Could you help me?

Hi auditool

When you open a document, it will link to document page of Docman component itself, not JA Megafilter.

I just tried to make a test by creating a menu item for Docman and the same issue happen:

/index.php/lineamientos

I disabled this menu item, you can enable and see the same.

You could contact Docman for help on this.

I logged in to your site to see what's going on, thanks for providing the access details.

The problem here isn't with DOCman but with the JA MegaFilter plugin that you're using to display your documents. As you can see from your hidden menu item, which points directly to DOCman, all of your document links work as they should: https://j4.auditool.org/index.php/auditoria-interna-documentos

You would have to ask the developers over at Joomlart for assistance with this as it's their plugin that's causing the problem.

Alternatively, if you're only using that plugin to provide a gallery of documents, have you considered setting up your DOCman list in gallery view? The gallery view is available in Hierarchical list, Flat list and Tree list menu items. You may find that DOCman is flexible enough for you to be able to build your pages without a third party extension in the way.

Your site is pretty slow to load a page, sometime page is unreponsive 🙂

Please make a test by creating a new menu item for Docman itself, not relate to JA Megafilter component and see if you can open the item 🙂

We are making more tests about our problem and we get the following erratic behavior:
If we use Megafilter we can´t access to the document. For example in https://j4.auditool.org/index.php/control-interno#sort=created_date&sortdir=desc try with "Checklist para revisar el proceso de cuentas por pagar".
If you try to access directly with a docman menu document item to the same document: https://j4.auditool.org/index.php/testtest . This works for us.

Apparently we can´t view or download documents using JA Megafiler....

Could you help us please?
